As I promised yesterday, here is the full sneak peek of Catherine and Ian’s portrait session at the Locks in Ballard. I was so glad that Google led Catherine to me and that we were able to capture these images of her and Ian before they sail away at the end of the month to get married. It was a real treat to meet them and I had a lot of fun hanging out with them. Please join me in congratulating them and wishing them well as they begin their lives together as husband and wife. This is just a little taste of the sneak peek that is to come. I had the chance to hang with Catherine and Ian on a sunny Seattle day recently and grab some photos of them enjoying each other as they anticipate their destination wedding at the end of this month. Well, I know I promised that these were “coming soon” but it took a little longer than I expected. I’ve had them ready for a while now but I was out of town and had some unexpected technical difficulties which kept me from posting these. So, without further ado, here are a few more shots from my time with Liz and Nate at Gas Works Park. We had grand plans to visit quite a few different locations but little did we know that we would get caught up in all the traffic and detours that go along with a local parade, boat race and the landing of the Seafair Pirates. Nevertheless, we had fun and here are some photos to prove it. Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Not only will more images from my engagement session with Nate and Liz at Gas Works Park in Seattle be coming soon but their wedding is coming soon as well. Just a little over a month away. Liz and Nate are a really sweet couple and I’m very excited to share more images from my time with them this past Saturday. But in the mean time, enjoy the eye candy below. Also, be sure to check back tomorrow (at the latest on Friday) to see more.

And oh yeah, for those that are interested in this kind of thing, I didn’t do any retouching or post-processing in Photoshop on this image. I just played around in Adobe Lightroom (what I use to manage my image libraries) to get to this almost infrared type of look. Anyway, check back tomorrow for more wonderful images from their engagement session.
