As most of you know, I have been sick for the past week and after going to the doctor on Monday was told that I needed to stay away from my maternity and newborn sessions that I had scheduled this week. Although not the most convenient thing for my clients, I can handle rescheduling the maternity sessions however, I hate to miss out on that unique window of opportunity to capture newborns in their first week of life. So, this week, I had to call on my business partner who is actually more critically acclaimed for playing the role of my husband. The majority of Chris’ participation in Jenny Joy Photography is primarily behind the scenes, doing the work that I either don’t enjoy or feel that I am not very good at. However, there have been times where he has also been out front with me with a camera in his hand. In the past, it has been for weddings and events. His challenge this time was to capture a precious newborn little girl. As you can see from the sneak peek below, he did a wonderful job.
More importantly than that, congratulations to Kimberly and Steve on the arrival of their little blessing, Baby ‘K’. She is absolutely adorable. For those of you keeping score at home, you last saw Kimberly during her Seattle urban maternity portrait session. Please join me in congratulating these first time parents.
